How we work

Here at 72DPI the Design Process starts with a strong cup of coffee and a pencil & pad. When it's time to start pushing pixels this is the software we bend to our will.

Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop is our weapon of choice when it comes to initial design of websites. In recent years this programme has rolled out many new features which make this the only choice for illustrating web UIs.

Adobe Illustrator

The vector powerhouse and application we turn to for all your logo design needs. Illustrator is also the first programme we'll look to for any custom illustration a web design project requires.

Adobe InDesign

Should you ever need a printed brochure, magazine or booklet designed this is our prefered weapon of choice. Indesign is also where we turn for any digital publishing needs our clients may have.

InVision is a prototyping tool created for designers, by designers. It allows us to quickly and easily create interactive mockups for your designs. We use InVision to deliver design concepts, the commenting features are a bit hit with our clients.

Our Developers keep up with ever-changing coding practises and advances in web technologies to ensure we always deliver sites which are going to perform well for you.

Sublime Text

Sublime Text's speed & simplicity were an instant hit with the developers here at 72DPI. In particular the shortcuts available to speed up code writing have made this our code editor of choice.

JQuery is a JavaScript Library - basically we use JQuery to create all of the fancy animated effects you see online. If your project would benefit from any of these extra bells & whistles we're likely to add a sprinkle of JQuery magic.

Bootstrap is a front-end framework for HTML, CSS and Javascript - some of the tastiest website ingredients in our recipe. It allows us to develop faster, which along with the copious amounts of coffee we consume means we are pretty fast.

Bitbucket is a web-based hosting service for projects that use either the Mercurial (since launch) or Git (since October 2011) revision control systems.

We're pretty good at what we do and we arm you with all the tools you'll need to monitor the success of your web campaigns moving forward.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a lot like 'the Force' it's all over the web and binds sites together with cool data but not many people fully appreciate how powerful a tool it can be. Use the force.

Social Media

Social Sites are fully embraced by small and large companies alike. If you are all at sea when it comes to setting these up or you don't know what you should and shouldn't use then we can help out.
